Registering with the government

In order to rent your accommodation in Venice, you must submit a Communication of Short-Term Rental Activities form to the city’s One-stop Business Advisory Center (SUAP) via certified email (PEC).

How to file as a natural person:

• Follow the instructions to register with the regional government here
• Attach a scan of a valid identity document, such as your passport
• Email the completed form and ID to tributi@pec.comune.venezia.it

How to file as a company:

• Go to https://www.impresainungiorno.gov.it/web/guest/comune?codCatastale=L736 to log in and fill out the form for the city of Venice
