All was great and we would likely stay again. The place is clean and comfortable and the home is in a safe neighborhood. The one thing that really didn't sit well with me was the situation where the price was listed as one thing but as it turns out Jennie charges per person- and a significant up-charge was applied when it turned out my husband and I were staying, not just myself. She said it was due to utilities but to me it felt like a manipulative up-charge and I didn't appreciate it at all. So I guess just be aware that the price listed is only if you are one person renting a two bedroom home- otherwise it will be signifcantly more.

Gorgeous spot - with lots of thoughtful details (soft pillows, great bedding, heated mattress pads). Super central to get to the beach / LAX, but in a quieter neighborhood that feels less hectic. Truly a beautiful, peaceful base in LA that I couldn’t recommend enough.

Privacy was an issue for my family. There was a camera on the back of the main house that looks straight into the living space window of the guesthouse. Once recognized, we closed the shade. Also, there are no shades on the windows in the kitchen space that is open and connected to the front common space. Although this may be a modern feature, when in the kitchen/common space, there was no privacy.
The window shades on the windows did not completely cover the windows. There was ample space on both sides of the modern roll down shades for direct viewing into the rooms. My family did not feel comfortable dressing in the bedrooms, especially being in the back of someone's home. Towels were given when requested but in consideration of the length of stay, towel service should be offered to stays of 2+ days.

Staying with Jennie is always the best; I am a multiple repeat client that will always come back.
