The Airbnb was a great base for our trips exploring the island. It is in the city center of Kona, but due to the surrounding buildings it is still relatively quiet. The courtyard with the pool area is nice with lots of plants and torch-light in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed.

However, there were a few issues that prevent us from giving 5 stars:
- The shower curtain does not stay in the shower because it is a bit too short. As a result the floor gets wet, even if you shower very carefully.
- The light switch for the bathroom is placed directly next to the shower curtain, so one needs to be extremely cautious to avoid water getting into the electricity while showering.
- The foto gallery of the Airbnb shows the beach on the other side of the road. It looks bigger in the pictures than it is in reality, and homeless people sleep there even at 10 am.

Despite these points, we did enjoy our stay!

We had an amazing, nice clean spot close to a lot of restaurants and activities near downtown Kona.

Super great location! We had no problem with parking in the parking lots on the property. We absolutely loved the big island! Plus the management has a really sweet old kitty that greeted us as we came and went.

Great spot along Ali’i Drive. Very convenient walking to bars, restaurants, beach, coffee. Condo location right by the pool was a huge plus! Mahalo Chris!
