We had the absolute best time learning sumo from Takeshi!! He is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. We really enjoyed the mixture of learning and practicing. This experience was our favorite part of our Japan trip!

This experience was definitely the most highlighting aspect of my trio to Japan. Takeshi is super friendly and an expert in Sumo. He made sure everything went fine right from the start and the training session was extremely engaging. I'm glad that I found this and happened to get actual sumo training. Takeshi shared several facts about sumo and he walked me through the process step by step like warm up and an actual match. Takeshi is very friendly too and you will have a wonderful training session from such a wonderful master. I would highly recommend this experience. the location was easy to find.

Absolutely incredible experience! I was originally looking at doing a tour where you watch a sumo wrestling practice because there are a lot of those in Tokyo.

Fortunately, I found this experience instead. Takeshi was very clear with his communication leading up to the experience.

During the experience he taught us about sumo wrestlers, the rules, some history, and the technique. We had an actual sumo wrestler practice as if I was just starting for the first time.
