We are a young family with 2 girls. We love outdoor fun and beautiful scenery. Originally from California and Kazakhstan, we have fallen in love with living in Kona. We treat others the way we would want to be treated, and we've stayed in Airbnbs all over the world. 5 things we can't live without: 1. Streaming video 2. Indian Food 3. Coffee 4. Fast Wifi 5. A Gorgeous View Our next trips abroad should be: 1. Japan 2. Greece 3. South Africa

PLACE: Charming studio with everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the sunset view, and having beach gear to borrow. Hanging with their dog was a treat, too. ☺️

COST: Low 9s for 3 nights in mid-Oct.

LOCATION: Centrally located; <30 mins to either side of Kona. Next to plenty of restaurants, stores, and beach access points.

HOOD: It’s a lovely residential area that’s nice and quiet. If you don’t like coquí frogs, look elsewhere. It’s also worth noting that quiet hours begin at 8 PM.

HOST: I worked solely with Chris, who was very responsive and easy to work/converse with.

FINAL: If you need a relaxing spot during your trip to Hawaii, you likely won’t be disappointed if you book this place!

We had the best time at Chris & Marsha’s place! First off - they truly saved us with a last minute booking after our prior arrangements fell through 🙏

Chris quickly responded to our inquiry to book and made arrangements for us to store our luggage prior to checking in the same day.

The property had everything we needed along with AMAZING views!!

We were also grateful for convenience of laundry available at the home.

The bed was super comfortable and living space/bathroom were perfect! We stayed cool with fan or AC when we needed it.

Really enjoyed our short stay here and would definitely come back!

FYI - the driveway is steep but Chris gave us helpful tips and we were able to navigate it just fine by putting our vehicle in “low gear” mode. Also, the listing is on a second level which is accessed by a flight of stairs. Stairs didn’t bother us at all!

Overall - this was probably one of the nicest places we stayed. We were so fortunate to be able to book with Chris and Masha
