Crown Memorial State Beach is a state park in the city of Alameda, CA on the shores of San Francisco Bay. It is operated by East Bay Regional Parks District, under a cooperative agreement with the State of California and the City of Alameda.
Alameda Beach is located on shoreline drive, it is part of Robert Crown Memorial State Beach. It is a nice sandy beach that stretches along the shore. The water here is shallow and the water temperature is warm compared to the outer bay. The whole area has a relaxed vibe and the water near the shore is pretty relaxed, too, without much riptide. This area is favorite for wind surfer.

Great place for water sports. There are instructors and equipment for rent for kite-boarding, wind-surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking. No instructions necessary to walk on the beach.
