Don't go to Glen Arbor without attempting the Dune Climb! It is located about 4 miles from the cottage. You can ride your bike there via the Heritage Trail bike path. Bring plenty of water and lots of energy. When you think it is the last hill it probably isn't :)

A must see if you're in the area. You can go to the first "top" for an incredible view of the surrounding area, or spend hours hiking up and down dunes until you get to Lake Michigan. If you opt for the long hike, bring lots of water and only do so if you are able to handle difficult hiking. It's hot, sandy and lots of up and down dunes to navigate, but a great hike for those who are in shape enough to go to Lake Michigan. (I'm not anymore, LOL)
