Beautiful scenic seacoast walk. This walk is short, easy, scenic and unique. The adventure starts down a man-made causeway and then crosses a mini-suspension bridge and onto a wooded path. The walk is just over a mile and an ideal spot for a quick stroll.
Great walk with kids that is ever changing due to tide. Steedman Woods, while fairly small, is a great hike with the family, even the smallest of children. And if you want to go farther, continue towards the ocean on the Fisherman's Walk on the other side of 103 or away from the ocean to Lindsay Lane to the George Marshall Gallery and beyond.

The original Wiggly Bridge was built in the 1930’s and is the smallest pedestrian suspension bridge in America. Legend has it that in the 1940s the bridge got its name from a Girl Scout troop who said it “wiggles” as they walked over it. It’s a stop while biking up the coast and is easy to walk to from York Village nearby or while visiting the small public beach located between the York Harbor Inn and Stage Neck Inn. It’s also right across from York Harbor.
