Renowned for its A-grade cocktails, Golden Age regularly hosts a quality lineup of local music on the tiny stage on Thursdays and Saturdays. The best bit? It’s free. The stunning Art Deco Paramount building is also home to a 60-seat restored screening room, showing new releases and classic indie films, with an adjoining bar. Whatever you’re coming here for, arrive early to enjoy wine or a cocktail, good bar snacks, and amazing ice cream sundaes.

The coolest Art House cinema in town. Housed in the old Paramount Pictures building Director’s screening room with only 50 seats. Have a drink and snack in the beautiful bar downstairs. 15 minute walk down Elizabeth Street.
Classic and cult movies, plus new releases and a cosy bar, in an art deco building from 1940.
This cinema was the first viewing stage for new movies coming to Australia. It's now a super trendy movie theatre showing old and new films. There is also quite a nice, but expensive, bar attached.
A heritage listed cinema in the old Paramount Studios building. Showing some new, but mostly classics hits, it is not only a good night out, but a very hip setup.
