Picnic Spot ...a "must do"! Visitors will commonly see seals, osprey, kingfishers, and eagles. Otter, mink, blue heron and other wildlife have also been spotted here. Sometimes there are music & food vendors. Feel free to bring your own beverages. Check the website for events but this place is great to collect seashells and see the tides crash against the rocks.

Right in Hancock is a sweet spot with a reversing falls, picnic tables, outdoor concerts on a Monday evening. It's a conservation site , used to be a working lobster pound. The turnoff is on the East Side Rd about two miles from Jellison Cove going back towards Rte 1.
Awesome sights when a kayaker practices rolling under water or a lobster boat is trying with all his power to go upstream against the current.
