Close by and a beautiful tree-filled park to run around in. Great hiking.
We go here for easy walking in a giant grove of Eucalyptus trees. It's shady, sunny, and smells divine. You can also find rugged trails above the grove.

Kennedy Grove is a 222-acre regional park located in West Contra Costa County that contains a three-mile hiking trail with an elevation of 760 feet. Features in the park include: Picnic sites named for some historical railroad stops such as Frenchman's Curve and Laurel Glen. An open air Amphitheater. Trail hillside benches overlooking the surrounding valleys and San Pablo Dam Reservoir. The grove is situated at the base of San Pablo Dam, and its whispering eucalyptus trees offer a fragrant, calm setting for all kinds of activities from company picnics to family reunions.
