A monastery, a ceramic factory, and a modern art center. This and the Museo de Bellas Artes are the ones I like the most. Tickets are free for members of the European Community. Go for it!
We love this museum not just for its art but also for its amazing building. The building was first a monastery then a ceramic factory. Interesting even for those not so in to the art.
The CAAC is located on the other side of the river, in a beautiful architectural complex that no everybody visits although it is really worth visiting, specially when the weather is good. Sometimes there are concerts too.
Historical monastery-turned-museum featuring contemporary artwork. A really cool place to visit with different exhibitions throughout the year. Located in the "Isla de la Cartuja" area, where the World's Expo of 92 was held.
CAAC, or the Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art it is already located outside the Triana district, but very close to the Torre Sevilla. For this it is definitely worth a visit. This museum is not only interesting for its works, but also because the center is inserted inside one ancient pottery factory which in turn was a monastery. All this extended in one beautiful park. A really cool setting and among the best things to do in Triana.
