Mahdi is an authentic Iranian Restaurant, just next door. Their ambience is amazing and you definitely have to try the Black or Spiced Black tea. Order a pot of that as well as a selection of starters (Vine Leaves, Stuffed Peppers, Aubergine Purée are all highly recommended). Then enjoy some of their specialities from the grill along with their freshly prepared bread (you can see them making it from outside the restaurant as well). They don't serve alcohol but their Tea and Yoghurt drinks will definitely do.

Excellent Persian cuisine, The portions are good size, very fresh, the bread they make is excellent. Only downside is no alcohol served but that does not put me off going, the food is really good.
Generous hot meat mese and lovely vegetarian options. Delicious hot, freshly baked (in a clay oven) bread and a gorgeous virgin lemonade. Sweet staff and quirky venue!
This is a wonderful Iranian restaurant where they make fresh home-made flatbread, hummus and Arabic tea. The decor will send you straight to the Middle East; it will feel as if you're on holiday there. The service is outstanding, the food - delicious, and the portions - more generous than you can manage. The restaurant is known to the entire Middle Eastern community in West London and it is busy every night of the week. You generally do not need to reserve a table; they will fit you in.
