An easy hike in the warm months and a good trail for beginner snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the winter. There are also some hills for sledding.

This hiking trail is walking distance from the cabin, literally just the next street up. This is a great day hike, with plenty of mountain biking trails. There is typically huge teeter-totters setup just down the walking path from old logs. This is a perfect walk for friends and family of all ages. During snow season you can find plenty of spots to go sledding. [0.1 miles from the cabin]

For easy to moderate hiking with the family, head straight out the front door and go right on Cedar, Left on Poplar St, and walk straight onto Bristlecone Trail. No need to drive! Bring your boots or shoes you don't mind trashing as it can be muddy in spots!

Walking distance to national forest trails. Bring a sled if there’s decent snow on the ground!!!
