The Petwood Hotel, once home to the 617 'Dambusters' Squadron, is a characterful hotel set in picturesque gardens, recommended for a relaxed and traditional afternoon tea.

Great food and a lovely place to sit outside to enjoy a cold drink in summer. Beautiful gardens to walk around especially in May when the giant rhododendrons are in bloom. Excuse the parents in the photo, it just shows how beautiful the gardens are. Stunning. Also has a room dedicated to the Dambusters squadron of the RAF who used the hotel as their mess during WW2

Wander in the grounds and have a cup of tea in the lounge or glass of wine on the terrace or a top nosh meal in the restaurant. Make sure you have a look at the Guy Gibson room. The rhododendrons in May/June are amazing
