The Fairmount is worth putting on a separate list for just having a drink. Although kitchen hours are only until 10pm, the bar is lively until 2am. If you do need some food with your drink, the small plates menu is available from 10-11 Sunday thru Thursday and 10-midnight on the weekend. Belly up to the bar to order your favorite cocktail and spend some time perusing the latest art installation. The Fairmount features a rotation of local artists on their walls and the curation is excellent. For your choice of cocktail try the Verdita 8, or the Moscow Mule pitcher with your choice of vodka, gin, whiskey or tequila. There are no rules here! Many other excellent cocktails are featured on the menu. If beer is more your thing, expect to find a long list of varieties both on-tap and in bottle or can. For wine lovers the Fairmount offers a well-rounded list from around the world.
