California's oldest existing theatre building. First opened in 1865! A California Historical Landmark. This landmark hosts the Nevada Theatre Film Series, The Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival, Sierra Stages and my favorite The Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra that puts on wonderful shows. My family came from Michigan last May and we saw the wonderful 'South Pacific' If you appreciate visiting and enjoying functioning historic landmarks this place is a must see. Worth the visit!
