Woodbridge sits on the banks of the River Deben and is easily accessed by car along the A12, or by rail. The renowned Tidemill, picture above, has been preserved for 300 years and is the main tourist attraction of the area. In the town, there is an excellent selection of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Just across the river is Sutton Hoo, a National Trust site where the anglo- saxon shop burial was discovered in the 1930s and is the subject of the recent film 'The Dig' starring Ralph Fiennes. There are so many things to do and places to visit from this town. Aldeburgh and Southwold are just up the A12. There is the RSPB bird centre at Minsmere, amazing coastal walks and the castle in Framlingham than Ed Sheeren sings about! Come and discover this beautiful corner of England!
