Rope swings to jump into clear swimming pools, natural water slides in the rocks around swimming pools, refreshing spot to spend an afternoon.

My favorite river in Puerto Rico, it even has natural rock slides. I don't recommend going on a Saturday because the main and easiest trail to get the slides is closed. I can recommend a tour guide.

Its right up the block only 3-5 min. drive, well known river with access to paid parking.

Party like a local. On the weekends you will find Charco Frio filled with neighboring residents swimming, BBQing, playing dominos, listening to music and hanging out in the cool waters. During the week it is much more quiet and great for nature lovers. Take a swim, or jump from the rocks above the river.
