Dating from 1749, this mellow local with roaring fire offers real ales, whiskies and pub lunches
Character bar in Leith Circa 1500's. Old school as it comes but worth a swift one.
It's an old-fashioned pub, so nothing too much on the food front. And all the better for it. They have a great range of real ales, always changing, and they keep them well too. The pub attracts all sorts, the chat is always good and you could wile away a rainy afternoon quite easily (as we have done).
One of the few real bars still on the shore, this place just oozes character. Excellent beers and decent wines (need to cater for all tastes now) but don't expect food, though you could get the odd pie from behind the bar!
