The Verdugo Bar has a really nice patio and a diverse and interesting beer menu filled with things that are a little hard to find. I remember going there for LA Beer Week a few years ago and drinking more than my fair share of barley wine, which is still beer, by the way—it’s just called wine because it’s super strong. Sometimes on weekends, food trucks park right off the patio from 7 to 10. I like to get a grilled cheese and play dominoes outside with friends.

Full bar with great beer selection and solid happy hour. Indoor is dark and divey and the outdoor patio is perfect to enjoy a nice afternoon, complete with board games.

dive bar walking distance from our unit. They have a different gourmet roach coach food truck there daily wednesday thru sat. nice if you wanna see how the locals live it up.

Good local neighborhood hip bar with many beers on tap. Outdoor patio as well.
