Great place to take the kids and have a picnic! Fun place to sled! Also, you can rent snowshoes at Lodgepole Market, about 2 miles from Wuksachi Lodge, and enjoy some quiet time up the hill from the snow play area.

Giant Forest and Wolverton Snowplay Area open Friday - Monday Due to road impacts from the KNP Complex Fire, the Generals Highway is open to Giant Forest, the General Sherman Tree, and Wolverton Snowplay Area Friday-Monday. For sequoia groves or snowplay areas Tuesday-Thursday, visit Grant Grove via Highway 180.
