The Klang River has long winded through Malaysia’s capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Over the years & in the wake of rapid development - the river became increasingly polluted. However all this changed in 2012, when the Kuala Lumpur City Hall launched an initiative to reconnect the city, the river & her people. Locals & tourists alike enjoy visiting the area for views of the confluence of the river & also of the Masjid Jamek Mosque (recognised as the oldest Islamic place of worship in Kuala Lumpur). *E-STAYS TIP* - Visit at night for the pretty lights. - Or visit during the day & wander around as the area is in close proximity to surrounding attractions such as: Central Market, Petaling Street / Chinatown, Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple, KL Forest Eco Park & more!
