There’s the west peak and the east peak—I typically end up on the west peak because that’s the best place to get a view of the fog. If you come on a day when the weather is just right, it looks like an ocean of fog is rolling over San Francisco. It shuts down at sunset, and for good reason—the surrounding roads can be a little sketchy in the dark.
