Blue Dragon Tavern & Cosmic Musiquarium is another sustainable initiative by 1Heart HUB, a Kohala-based business with a social purpose to support local farming & foods, the arts, community & culture and education. The original Blue Dragon Restaurant enjoyed eight years as a premiere coastal locale! Island residents and visitors gathered to listen and dance to eclectic live music and enjoy ultra-fresh coastal cuisine. At peak popularity in late 2016, we closed our beloved Dragon to address wastewater issues. Three years later in Sept. 2019, the Dragon reopened with renewed commitment to island artists, musicians and local farmers under a new name: Blue Dragon Tavern & Cosmic Musiquarium.
