At a distance of 10km. from Chora, Elia is the largest beach on the island and one of the quietest. Almost the entire beach is covered by umbrellas and sunbeds, while there is a small part of it free to use by those who prefer sunbathing in the sand. Elia beach is very popular with nudists and the gay community. It is located a short walk west of Agrari beach with some smaller, but equally gay-friendly beaches, to be inserted.
