Queen’s Park Golf Course, established in 1905, is a rural heaven in the middle of Bournemouth. The course is set in undulating mature parkland with picturesque tree-lined fairways. This 18 hole, former Championship Course is set in a beautiful location where the fair-ways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The golf course was formerly a regular feature on the PGA European Tour, and was the venue for numerous high profile tournaments, host-ing famous names like Steve Ballesteros, Sir Henry Cotton and Tony Jacklin. The greens are in superb condition, fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers. It is definitely living up to its reputation as one of the finest and picturesque municipal courses in the south of England.
