I love strolling on this wooden bridge over the river to the National Library, La Bibliothèque François Mitterrand. As I walk, I keep my gaze on the library’s four minimalist towers. Made of natural materials, they’re an impressive reminder that nature is the best way to protect our goods and knowledge. This simple walk reminds me of New York and Brooklyn, where I used to live. At sunset on a sunny day you can enjoy the 360-degree view of the library, the city skyline, and the mythical Seine.

The best way to join the "guinguette pirate" & "Batofar". It is peaceful and without car ;-)
one side a nice parc , other side a nice building and cinema, a point on the river you might go to jog , with a bike or your rollers !
A modern pedestrian bridge giving direct access to national library (BNF) by foot, very nice to see
You can get a unique view on the banks of the river by crossing the new bridge named after the famous feminist writer, Simone de Beauvoir
