Saguaro National Park (Monument) consists of two locations—Tucson Mountain District (west), which is less than 9 miles from the Diamond in the Rocks Guest house and the Rincon Mountain District (east), which is about 35 miles away. The Tucson Mountain District (west) has roads, trails, and picnic areas suitable for hikers, bicycles, and equestrian use. Suggest purchase your entrance fee prior to arrival to reduce contact time. Payment options include honor/ self-pay stations, mobile apps, online, and in-person at the Red Hills Visitor Center. The Red Hills Visitor Center in the Tucson Mountain District (west) of Saguaro National Park is located at 2700 North Kinney Road, Tucson, Arizona 85743. The Visitor Center is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and closed on Christmas Day. Purchase of pass supports entry to both locations. The east has more hiking trails; the west is a good choice since close to Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
