This beach is a 3.5km long sandy beach, approximately 70 m wide. It's a favourite with families as often, in the summer there are play facilities for children. Part of the beach, Platja Gran is nudist. Other facilities include showers, toilets, a lifeguard and tourist information point. When the Levante or Tramontana winds blow they are good enough for windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing. There are restaurants and chiringuitos available for food and drinks.

Pals Beach Resort (4 km / 10 minute drive) A typical tourist beachside resort with lots of restaurants (these tend to be summer season only), beach shops and numerous campsites. There are a couple of good child friendly restaurants (Niff Niff and Braai) which both have small children’s play areas. Pals is very much set up for family holidays and as a result has a some fun activities you can do with children. The Parc d’Adventure is a popular place with treetop trails, high wires and zip lines. There is also a pony riding centre nearby too.

The beach! Platja de Pals is a long sandy stretch, starting from where Solimar is (where the beach is officially part of Begur strangely enough) going North all the way past the golf course.
