Commit no nuisance, the sign on the door. The Cathedral and Abbey Church opposite has the remains of St Alban, the first British/Roman martyr, making it a place of pilgrimage from early Middle Ages

grade 1 listed building dating back to 1403.the only remaining medieval belfry in the uk.you can go up the clock tower at certain times and days check their website for tours.
