Small river beach with swimming access. Great place to watch the sunrise or sunset and even launch a canoe or kayak.
This is locally referred to as “Little Beach”. It is so close and has a huge dock, a play set, and is pet friendly!
413 S. Riverside Drive, Edgewater, FL 32132 Good place to launch into the Indian River, have a picnic, kayak or paddle board. Small beach in low tide. Located just 2 blocks to the East of US-1 in Edgewater, you will drive through a beautiful residential area to get there. There are 2 parking lots: one is the the north side immediately after driving into the park and the other is the main lot directly ahead and near the water. There is an uncovered playground, bathrooms and dock on the north end of the park. The East side has a small (about 10 feet wide) grass and a very small (about 6 feet wide) beach (only at low tide) and the boat ramp. A lot of people bring their kayaks and paddle boards. ( I"ll post about rentals I heard about on this guide.) There is very little shade to speak of for this location so bring an umbrella and make sure you bring bug spray for sundown. It is local and the view is incredible. Enjoy.

Spectacular location, known to locals as “Little Beach” or “The River.” It is definitely easy to lose track of the time here. Amenities: swimming, waterfront park with swings, boat/ kayak access, covered pavilion, grills, volleyball court, benches, fishing, bathrooms, and more. The water is often crystal clear and it’s easy to spot dolphins.
