Great ravines to walk around Saturday farmers market

Nice place for a nature walk about 7 minute drive. There is paid parking. There is a cafe in the main area that serves pastries as well. They often have food trucks and farmer's market on the weekend and a really unique play area for kids.

Brickworks (www.evergreen.ca): This is a former brick factory that has been repurposed into a community and event space. There is a popular Saturday Farmers Market, and other events throughout the year. Be sure to explore the old brick kilns. The quarry behind the buildings have been turned into wetlands and have boardwalk trails and a nice view of the city.

Evergreen Brick Works is a great place to grab a coffee, see the koi fish pond and take a lovely hike around the trail. In the winter there is a magical outdoor skating rink. With great elevated views, this is a must see, especially at sunrise.
