Awesome hike in Hana. Gorgeous views, bamboo forest, big banyan tree and a GIANT waterfall at the end. Bring your own pack lunch and water. Hike takes about 2-3 hours, in total. They shut the trail down around 3-4pm. So, plan your arrival accordingly.
Beautiful 4 mile hike that gains 650' elevation. Take your time and enjoy.
This trail is one of the many sightseeing and hiking spots on the way to Hana. Take the Pipiwai trail to see the great Waimoku Falls. **If you have visited the Haleakala National Park already, you can use the same visitor pass within 3 days here at the Pipiwai trail (and vice versa).

Ending at a huge waterfall called Waimoku Falls. Park at Haleakala National Park Kipahulu Visitor Center which requires an entrance fee or pass such as a National Park pass. Be sure to take a quick stop at the Seven Sacred Pools while here.
