Big Brook Dam is a wonderful place to go swimming, walking, kids riding their bikes, scooters, take the pram with a sealed 4.2 kilometre trail surrounding the dam. Picnic facilities, barbecues, picnic tables toilets and change rooms and two large shelters means any time of the year works. Bring your fishing rod and lures for fishing in season for trout, Redfin Perch and marron (freshwater crayfish). Permits required. The Bibbulmun Track passes on the southern side of the dam through Big Brook Arboretum and camping ground. Ride your mountain bike, run or bushwalk out to Big Brook Dam along the Rainbow Trail from Pemberton. Sealed vehicle access from Pemberton.

Take in the beautiful view of the water as you walk through the Karri forest. Bring your bathers on a hot day as you will enjoy the relaxing on the secluded beach where you can then swim in the dam as far as you can or just jump in to cool off!

A large dam just outside of Pemberton, which is perfect for a swim on a hot day. Man made beach with a gently sloping entrance to the water, which makes it perfect for young kids to splash around safely. Also walking trails, toilets and BBQ facilities.
