It’s an easier hike, and it’s cool because it’s like a cove of nature in the middle of this urban city. “Corona” means crown, and there are actually some rocks that have formed into what looks like a crown at the very top of the hill. The rocks remind me of that character Thing from Fantastic Four—it’s almost like they could come alive at any moment. Head up here for sunset to get a unique view of the Civic Center and the Castro Theater’s neon lights.

•My favorite city "hike" is Randall Park. Google maps will likely call it Corona Heights. It's 10 times better than the view and experience of Twin Peaks (and way less touristy). The nearby Sutro Open space is also a nice, short hike.
#Dogwalk. Better views than Twin Peaks with less tourists. Also on the way to the Mission district if by car
Another AMAZING VIEW. If you're looking for a city hike with a rewarding vista, this one is a can't miss!
Little known park with a great view of the city. It's a bit of a secret spot, so I like it a lot because there are a lot fewer people here than in Twin Peaks.
