Why not get the little red train all the way up the montenvers and get up close with La mer de glace. Note: there are a lot of steps so if you are with elderly travelers or young children it’s recommended for them to stay at the refuge at the top.

Jump on the Montenvers train and experience both one of the most beautiful view of Chamonix on the "Mer de Glace" (Sea of Ice) in a traditional atmosphere. Enjoy a coffee or beer on the terrace or a wonderful lunch if you have a bit more time. Ideal for sunset.

Refuge authentique & savoureux, vue à couper le souffle sur la mer de glace, en été comme en hiver. Expérience incroyable à partager en famille (train + restaurant au Montenvers). De nombreuses balades sont possibles en été comme en hiver, ainsi que la visite du glacier qui fond d'année en année.

Un endroit magique accessible à tous par le petit train du montenvers pour déjeuner au dessus de la mer de glace ou mieux passer une nuit.
