HIKE SUMMARY: Somewhat underused, but very special hike that offers fantastic views of the Gorge. This is 1.2 miles one-way, or you can choose to do a 3.0 mile loop. DIFFICULTY: Strenuous, not for family with children. Trail is steep and narrow at times, and has some exposed drop-offs that could unnerve some hikers. JURISDICTION: Oregon State Parks / Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. FEE: none. FROM THE ALOHACIENDA: About 20 minute drive. I-84 to exit #56, then return back on I-84 to get off on Exit #58.

Quick drive and not too long of a hike for some big views. Be warned - it’s a steep climb with minimal shade so best avoided in the middle of a hot day
A 17 min drive West along I 84, this is a 2.6 mile trail with 1300 foot elevation gain, with stunning views of the Columbia River. It can be very windy!
