The history of the Döner Kebap goes back to the 70s. After the 2nd World War Germany needed as much workers as possible to rebuild its destroyed cities and infrastructure. So the turkish and german government made a deal to send many turkish people to help germany rebuilding. One day a turkish worker/migrant saw that germans were really hard workibg people and didn’t have a lot of time for eating during breaks so created this sandwich called Döner Kebap. It has overtaken any other streetfood sandwiches in the whole german speaking area. On every corner you will find a Döner Kebap place. This particular place „Ferhat Döner“ is arguably the best Döner Kebap in the world both quality wise and taste wise. Many German and Austrian foodbloggers are confirming that.:)
