To some extent this road differs from many of the other tourist routes – it’s quite simply a regular all-purpose road. On this route you must be prepared to share the road with all those who use it every day. Just treat this as part of the experience, and keep in mind that being stuck behind a farmer on his tractor in fact gives you a better opportunity to spot all the nuances and features of the landscape – the cultural heritage, the ocean, the fields and the eternally changing light. This coastal landscape is unique and completely unlike anything you will find in other parts of Norway. To get the strongest impressions you should probably stop the car by now and then.
