A nice little wild, overgrown park. Good for stomping through the woods. There is a hill in the center of the park and the trails are not very cleanly maintained.

Its part of our nation's history and its a cool little wooded area where you wouldn't expect it.

You can park for free on Otis street up to 14th street. That's only a 3 block walk to the metro.

It’s a bit overgrown but has US Civil War significance. We were delighted to discover it after we moved to Brookland. It has several trails up the hill and deer and foxes can be sighted there.
