Take the tour hosted by air force retirees with lots of knowledge. A great choice for time well spent.
This is not for aviation lovers only, but for those who enjoy military and commercial aviation history. The “Boneyard” is world famous. This might be the last chance to see some of histories greatest aircrafts.
Since this is an active military base, it's not open to the general public except during an open house and air show. As was the case on this visit. Access onto the base is limited, but getting into and parking was easy, although it was a bit of a hike to the viewing area. but I guess that is to be expected. All in all, a fun day.
