Tautphaus Park is a huge park in the center of the city. It is connected to the zoo, and home to many activities throughout the year. You will find fairs, car shows, community classes, and even a winter ice skating and cross country skiing trails. There are lots of play equipment for kids here. There are also dozens (literally dozens) of small parks scattered throughout Idaho Falls. It’s easy to find some green grass and shade around here.

Plenty of space to stretch out and play. Multiple playgrounds, including: a skate park, softball fields, and handy cap accessible playground.
This park is excellent for families or if you want to have a picnic. There are tennis courts, baseball fields, play lands and also the zoo which is a must see any time of year
