A five-minute drive to the main highway on US 64 in the Chesley Mall Shopping Center, they have pretty much everything you might need.

This is one of two grocery stores on Roanoke Island. It has a better selection than the Piggly Wiggly although I think the produce and prices are better at the Pig.

This locally owned grocery store is in Manteo, and is a good quick stop for the basics. If you are looking for cheaper prices (at the expense of a drive to Nags Head), then I would recommend Food Lion in Nags Head.
