If you wish to go for an extended walk/hike, this area is a great option on the North Shore. It’s a short 14km drive from your suite. What’s appealing about this section of the Shore is that you have access to a paved path if you wish to explore using a very accessible path, or you can use the well defined trail network which gives you access to lakes, rivers and scenic views.

Take Mount Seymour Parkway stay in the right lane take Lillooet Road to the end. There is a parking lot there are a lot of trails around there but the homestead/fisherman’s trail is off to the right when driving in. I would recommend using your GPS
Beautiful trails including short flat loops around Rice Lake and nearby forest. Bikers often cycle the 10km paved trail to Seymour Dam and the old-growth forest trail with majestic 3m wide trees by the river. The more intrepid can go on full day or overnight hikes to local peaks
We like coming here in the summer when we want to go for an extended road bike ride along a paved forested pedestrian-only road into the mountains. There is also Rice Lake for a great walk or if you enjoy fishing for trout.
