Best to make this trip in the spring or the fall when the weather is cooler. A lot of walking when it's hot.
Known for Peace & Quiet, Stunning Views, Iconic Scenes, Families, State & National Park, Touristy St Marys is the gateway to Cumberland Island, Georgia's largest and southernmost barrier island. Camera – the wild horse and maritime forest are so lovely, as are the beaches and dunes. Bug repellent. Sunscreen. Bug repellent. Towels. Bug repellent. And did I mention, bug repellent?
