Gracious 1891 Victorian mansion features 19th century paintings by Bouguereau and Paxton, Boehm porcelains, Chinese ivory carvings and international antique dolls. Modern wing rotates temporary exhibits and a collection featuring O'Keefe, Jenkins, Picasso, Miro and Chagall just to name a few. Named one of USA Today's '10 Great Places to See Art in Smaller Cities,' the museum features a World Class Art Collection with no admission fee (Donations excepted). Travel and Leisure Magazine has named the Rahr-West Art Museum among "America's Best Small-Town Museums" in their June, 2014 issue. This rare honor puts the Rahr-West in elite company. Hours of Operation Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm Saturday-Sunday 11am-4pm. Closed Mondays except for classes, private tours, and room rentals.
