For those who like history, there are near Smidö some of Stockholm County's most exciting relics from antiquity, beautifully situated high above Lake Mälaren. The place is called Rösaring after a large stone labyrinth. Rösaringen, which is an old settlement from the Bronze Age and the highest point in the municipality. The area consists of coniferous forest, mostly pine, on a gravel ridge. In the area there are several ancient remains from the Iron and Bronze Ages, including in the form of burial grounds, a 500 meter long processional road lined with stones and several circular, stone-edged labyrinths in different sizes. In Säbyholm village is also Låssa church with very old origins from the year 1100.

An old viking procession path. You can see remains of spirals and small hills. The path ends at the top of a hill with a panorama. 10 minutes by car.
