Steigen Bygdetun (open 24.June - 20.August) Steigen Bygdetun is a place where you can enjoy the delicious tranquility of old days. Take a stroll from the parsonage down to the museum. On the trip through the vicarage gardens with its ancient trees, and down the avenue past the burial mounds from the Viking Age to the Board Tunets old houses and lush perennial border, you might feel going back in time. Bygdetunet is built around the old doctoral farm Breidablikk from 1877. It serves in summer delicious cakes and griddle cakes that you can enjoy in the garden or in the doctor's fine rooms.
