Local community-owned pub, restaurant and coffee shop. Mention my name! At nearly 1000 ft above sea level, it's the highest pub in Northumberland. The hamlet is steeped in history, linked to the days when Ridsdale was at the heart of iron-ore production for Victorian arms manufacturer, Lord William Armstrong (who also built Cragside and Bamburgh Castle).
